Some oldies but goodies from past camps.   Eric Rasmussen told our table a story about walking on the top of the metrodome in 2009.  He evidently had to get in touch with the groundskeeper who let him up to the top row in the right field upper deck seats - he said it was around noon as they had to do this well before the game started that evening.  They opened up this door that led to more stairs which went up to this "trap door" that you went out on the roof of the metrodome.  He said it was somewhat bouncy and felt very interesting and the view was fantastic.  Eric is the minor league pitching instructor for the Twins and glad he didn't fall off the roof because he is one of the better Pro Staff here in camp -- but a good story indeed.

And if any rookies are reading this -- ask Rick Aguilera about his spring ball experience when he was converting from 3B to pitching (he was playing in Alaska at the time) -- great story.

Thursday's tilt involved 2 games -- lots of teams could fall and rise in the last day.....
