Camp Hall of Fame

What makes the Twins Fantasy Camp special is the guys (and gals) who show up every year and just grind out a week of baseball.  If you happen to do this year in and year out (and specifically sign up and show up 10 different years) you are enshrined into an exclusive group - the Camp Hall of Fame.

The 2019 class was inducted last night and four of us have made the successful (sign up and show up) adventure of week-long baseball at the Twins spring training facilities starting as rookies in 2010 and going 10 straight camps. Five of us all together -- Randy Beran, Steve Davis, Mike Hickey, and Mike Slattery. We also got a surprise -- we were able to do a speech, so I fumbled around (mostly after my kangaroo court circus show) but the camp family is what I most treasure and of course -- having a little fun playing some baseball.

The other surprise was being inducted along with two camp legends -- Lee "Stinger" Stange and Tony Oliva. The 2019 class was completed with a solid 7 inductees.
