Thursday - Game 6 - Today's Starting Pitcher is PB
Today's weather started out just a little warmer than the previous day - gametime temperatures were around 55 degrees. Sunny skies and PB was on the mound. The 4-1 Comets were playing for one of the top seeds for the fantasy camp playoffs on friday and saturday. PB was staked out to a quick 5-0 lead as the Comets took advantage of some walks and timely hits. PB started off hot with 4 strike outs in the first two innings. PB was touched for a run in the bottom of the fifth, his teammates provided plenty of run support finally racking up 10 runs for the day. PB's pitching continued to get stronger as the game wore on and finished the game striking out the side in the bottom of the 7th.
PB's Pitching line: 7 IP, 7 Hits, 1 Run, 3 BB's, 10 K's
PB Hitting: 1 for 4, Run
MW played a very solid first again - didn't have to make any scoops as the Comets defense was real good. MW hit the ball real well but was snake bitten by a couple good fielding plays that took away some hits.
MW: 1-4, Run, RBI
