That is why we have Tuesday.....

So it's Monday here at camp and we play 2 games and also tomorrow is a doubleheader as well.

This will be a short recap of the games the Game 7 team played today - it was ugly for 13 innings and a 7th inning spark may help us tomorrow -- but we lost the first game 11-3, good pitching by the Judge (Bob) and in the 2nd game we scraped together some runs in the 7th inning to lose by 1 -- thankfully something to build on -- but an 0-2 start for the Game 7 squad -- we did a great job of kicking the ball around today -- we made a lot of errors and in turn, gave up a few runs. I ended up pitching in the afternoon game -- long story short -- after 4 inning and 7 runs on the board for Fantasize this -- we were down 7-0 -- I am not 100%, but maybe gave up 2 earned runs -- but that is how it goes as camp once in a while. We can win 2 tomorrow and be square with the house so we will see.

My locker is next to Eddie Guardado and got to chat with him for a bit today -- funny funny guy. Rincon and JC Romero were taking with him about the time they came up to the bigs and them being rookies -- Juan and JC were getting a lot of coffee for Eddie back in the day. They also told a few stories about being failed "starters" in the minors/majors and did OK as relievers.. Glen Perkins sat down and chatted with im for awhile as well - he is enjoying his time as a broadcaster for FOX and driving around his 2 kids (ages 13 & 11) and brewing some beer -- so good locker room talk going on. I also entered in the Sewer - it is a row of guys who need to drink some Jack and Sprite -- they basically will close down the locker room (or be escorted out eventually....) but a good group of guys having a good time (4 guys named Seurer....but everyone pronounces it Sewer, instead of Sawyer) so the perfect row of ridiculous.

Tonight will finish up with the team dinner - the coaches and players get some good bonding time breaking bread and having a good time - we will finish out the evening with an autograph party. I need to get Tommy Watkins sign a picture and I have a couple baseball cards as well - so keep it simple - I used to hustle and print pictures and get autographs and such - but just love hanging out and enjoying the week - so I don't do that much anymore.

Well got through the first 2 games healthy -- so we will put on a new show tomorrow and go get 'em!
