Tuesday -- we play 2 - quick recap and Standings update through 4

Just a quick post/recap of the day and updated standings here at camp.  I much longer blog will be posted tomorrow with a recap of Kangaroo Court (which went from fun, to crazy, to ridiculous) and also Hall of Fame inductions -- so come back for more reading.

Beautiful day here at the ball yard - expected high of 80 today - and it did not disappoint.

We split yesterday's games and were hoping to win 2 today -- things in the morning started off well - We played the Shakers in our first game. We scored in the first inning with 2 runs.  We gave up a run in the 4th, added a few more in the 5th, they scratched a run in the 7th -- for a 5-2 victory for us.  Well pitched game by Bill Clabots and good effort all around for us - we are still not hitting our groove but I did get 2 hits, including an RBI double -- so the stick is coming around.

Game 2 - again, perfect afternoon of sun here in Florida - we were up against the Oreo's and starting pitcher Roiger -- we had Hess on the mound -- both pitchers did a great job -- we ended up giving them 4 runs with a mix mash of not so well played balls in the infield (normal fantasy camp stuff) and Roiger shut us down good for a 4-1 loss to the Oreo's - our hitting is not nearly as good as I predicted early in the week. We play one game tomorrow and hopefully we can get things rolling, we do not want to finish with the 4th seed - it appears one team is the cream of the crop here at camp -- that's the "Warriors" -- they are 4-0.  With that here are the updated standings:

(unofficial - but I feel this is the correct order with Runs Against the first tiebreaker)
Warriors  4-0
Ball Berians 2-2
Weapons  2-2
Shakers 2-2
Oreo's 2-2
Ditch Cougars 2-2
Wins & Saves 1-3
3 Amigos 1-3

We play the Warriors tomorrow -- should be a good head to head match up for us if we feel like we are a top 4 team.

Just 1 tomorrow and the afternoon will feel like an off day.

Healthy so far - so let's keep it this way.
